Overcoming Fear, Going to Places that Scare You
Go to places that scare you. Why would anyone go to places that scare? To grow and develop into something more. To experience all of life, not just the given and the norm. The various emotions that arise from this experience are fruitful no matter how you look at it. A jolt to the body and mind is required. This should not be avoided. There are those who stick with what they know and such is perfectly acceptable. Then, there are those who seek uncertainty and shock. They do so with purpose and by design. There’s an important lesson to be learned experiencing something radical as one seeks inner strength. This becomes riveting and addictive. The fear disappears while lucidity becomes clear. Power will always become apparent when the fear subsides. Never forget that all mankind has power within and can go to places that scare. Take the journey and feel alive. Never fear the unknown.
Fear is an Illusion
Freeing the mind from illusion is the starting point to a better, more gratifying life. To live life to the fullest, one must overcome all trepidation. What is the best way to do such? Facing fears intentionally and head on is the best way. It has always been the right approach. This means going to places that scare. This means doing things one dreads doing. This means taking action when one does not want to take action. This also means sucking it up and taking one for the team. Stepping outside one’s comfort zone is key. Do not hide in the back when the action is up front. Complacency and comfort will not work. Hard commitment and true action work.

Detach, Step Away and View
No matter the situation or place, detach yourself. Step away mentally and view the situation for what it is. Give it a clear view that is not bogged down with any fear. This is the important point to note. This is what it means to detach and step away. Do not rush to judgement or move emotionally, simply detach for the moment. Mindfulness comes in handy. It is a powerful tool when used with precision.
Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose
Take a lesson from the classic television drama Friday Night Lights and follow the iconic battle cry, “clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose.” Driven to succeed? One must put aside any fear. This determination is evident with purity when eyes are clear. Clouded judgements create uncertainty and doubt. Does anyone want more fright? No! Do not buy into this mantra. Believe with certainty even though certainty is not obvious at the moment. Truth is always on display if one sees the world for what it is.
Having a full heart is all about the strength within. Believe it or not, everybody has this strength. Everyone is superhuman to an extent. When you dig deep, you will find this strength, this full heart. The more confidence one posses and demonstrates, the less anxiety exists, and the more capable one becomes. One simply cannot lose. Don’t give in to fear. Go to places that scare you!
