In Times of Uncertainty, Lead with Positivity
Lead with positivity. Lead with authenticity. Always look for what is good and positive in people. These are exasperating and ambiguous times as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, constructive opinion is required now more than ever. Fear not. Spread not. Just be human. To be human is to be kind. Yes, kindness and empathy, not hostility and disdain. Look around and see the good in people because it is evident. It is there beneath the hardened layer that has undergone massive pain and distress over the many months. That layer has ripened and requires tender care. Compassionate words work best. Genuine smiles yield a true connection. Be the spirit, be the buzz you wish to see in the world. Try it today.
Be Mindful of Fear
Human beings are driven by fear because such is human nature. At times we are fearful of others, more importantly we are scared of death. We long for safety and security. Look around and view the anxiety due to the uncertainty as a result of a virus. Humanity has endured, it has suffered. No matter what, humanity can and will prevail. The best defense for a civilization is by joining forces. We are stronger together. Humankind craves and requires togetherness for survival. We are meant to interact, not stay separate. Our inner spirit craves for connection and interaction like the body craves liquid when dehydration strikes. Be mindful of the dread rotating around the sphere. Do not judge but observe.
United We Stand
People will do everything in their power to survive. This notion is something all citizens stand for. Consequently, all individuals share this collective connection. This is what unites and keeps communities intact. This is what enables all participants to cooperate, expand, and flourish. Not buying it? Look at all the constructive innovation over the years that has enabled people to live longer. We may look different on the surface but we are the same within. Some bonds are unbreakable and this is one of them. When it comes to survival, all share an identical feeling.
Look Within to Spread Outside
Look into the mirror, see the outward beauty as well as the inner splendor. Yes, it is there and staring back. One must feel it to know it, and then can share it. Sense the harmony and affection that is plentiful, all residing within. Free flowing and glowing. It comes and goes, never standing motionless. Once it is sensed, it becomes active and can be distributed spontaneously. Sometimes the best thing one can do for another is simply acknowledging one’s presence. Such a greeting can modify another’s liveliness. Trust in the influence to come no matter what thought enters the mind. Lead with positivity. Lead with goodness because it is staring back. To be human is to be kind.
